TIPS (Telecommunications Infrastructure Project Statewide) is a part of a $2,493,000 statewide computer upgrade coordination grant awarded by the California Community Colleges, Chancellor's Office (CCCCO) in mid-June 1997 to Butte Community College (Oroville, Ca). The project will integrate all 106 community colleges in the 71 district California Community College (CCC) system with California State University's (CSU) existing electronic network.
TIPS is a monthly publication sponsored by the California Community College system and is dedicated to the sharing of information relating to state funded projects, statewide meetings, educational innovation, individual recognition, and future opportunities for applying technology in education. It is distributed statewide to all community colleges, the State of California Legislature, and to other interested groups and individuals.
TIPS is produced at the Butte-Glenn Community College District Offices located in Oroville, California under a grant funded by the California Community Colleges, Chancellor's Office.
